A “sub-processor” is a third party that processes personal data on our behalf to help us provide our Products. This page lists the sub-processors used across the consumer and prosumer Products covered by our Privacy Policy. Enterprise/regulated Products (Teq-CBA, teqTMS, TeqPOS, Karego, teq-invoice, Isopace, qwicmail) maintain their own sub-processor lists in their own agreements.
We update this page when we add or change a material sub-processor.
| Sub-processor | Purpose | Data involved | Location | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd.) | Merchant of Record — checkout, billing, payment, tax, receipts | Buyer name, billing email, billing country, tax ID, card metadata (Paddle holds full card data, not us) | UK / EU / US | In use |
| Apple (App Store) | Distribution + in-app purchases for iOS/macOS apps | Store account identifier, purchase/entitlement data | US / global | In use where distributed on Apple |
| Google (Google Play) | Distribution + in-app purchases for Android apps | Store account identifier, purchase/entitlement data | US / global | In use where distributed on Google Play |
| Anthropic (Claude API) | AI features where Teqpace operates the model (e.g. Teqpace Academy tutor/grading/production) | Text submitted to the AI feature | US | In use when AI is enabled |
| Cloud hosting / infrastructure | Hosting for our websites and online Products (teqpace.com, Gist Dey, Teqpace Academy) | Account, usage, and server-log data | Cloud provider(s); region and provider available on request | In use for online Products |
We do not currently use third-party analytics, email-marketing, or crash-reporting sub-processors for these Products. Purchase receipts and billing emails are sent by Paddle as part of checkout, and app crash/diagnostic data is handled on-device or in aggregate only. If this changes, we will update this page.
Note on BYOK AI: for Products that use bring-your-own-key AI (such as biblely Live), prompts go directly from the user’s device to the AI provider whose key the user supplied. That provider is engaged by the user, not by Teqpace, and is therefore not a Teqpace sub-processor.
